| Adam's getting a little sister for Christmas this year !!! (I'm due 12/23) J 's thrilled because now that we've got a matched set, we're "done". Um..yeah....we'll see Raising kids is by no means easy, but there is nothing and nobody in the world who can make my heart melt, like my little munchkin And just watching him run around being a troublemaker, just makes me want to add a few more rugrats to the bunch How time passes. It's hard to believe that in a just a few days, my little monster's turning 2 already....

| Mommyhood is wonderful and tiring. I can only imagine how it will be when Adam's little brother or sister makes their appearance. How many of us "new moms" are thinking of starting on number 2? Initially, we were planning to start at the end of this year, just so Adam would be about three years apart from the next one. But of course, life has its little surprises We'll find out at the end of the month whether it's a boy or girl this time... | | |
| When I saw him, it was love at first sight. I looked into his eyes and I knew I would love him forever. We've been through a lot. There has been screaming...tears...but along the way, there has also been boundless laughter and joy. He's challenged me to grow and I'm a better person because of him. Until he came into my life, I never truly understood the meaning of unconditional love. Sometimes he makes me angry and sometimes he makes me frustrated, but as soon as he turns that smile on, I melt. Of course I'm referring to Adam. Who wouldn't melt at the sight of those chubby dimples? Status of his vocabulary to date: - Bye-bye
- mommy
- bow-bow ("I'm full" in Cantonese)
- nai- nai ("milk" in Cantonese)
- appa ("daddy" in Korean)
- umma ("mommy" in Korean)
- po-po ("maternal grandma" in Cantonese)
- yee-yee ("younger auntie" in Cantonese)
- hai-go-doh ("it's over there" in Cantonese) Very handy when I'm trying to find where he's hidden the remote or our cell phones
- hai-nei-doh ("it's over here" in Cantonese) Likewise
- mein-mein ("noodles" in Cantonese)

| On my way to work, I stopped by a local bakery to pick up a sandwich. Mortadella, mozzarella, pesto, spinach, and roasted red bell peppers on a baguette. I had such high expectations for this sandwich. Why does Mortadella look and tastes just like bologne? | | |
| I have a confession. I have a horrible system for remembering things. When I recall a memory, it almost always is linked to whoever is around at the time; namely which boyfriend I was with. Case in point: *Inner monologue* I really need new glasses. How long has it been? Let see, I got this pair back in......ok, I was with whasisname.....and that was like maybe 6 mos before I broke up with him, even though I was dying to kick him to the curb......so that means.....I've had these glasses since I was about 21yrs old. Wow, 7 years already- time flies. Damn, my prescription is soooooo out of date. Terrible, I know. I really need to get my eyes checked more often.... | | |
